Is it back?

My motivation, that is.

I haven't worked out in a long time, running included. Which really just made me sad. I enjoy running and working out, but have not had the energy for it at all. I'm sure the last few weeks can be blamed on the new job but it began before that even. I don't know where my energy went, I have been desperately trying to find it.

Yesterday I needed to get some fresh fruit, I decided to go to SuperTarget so I could browse the clearance isles, hehe. I walked by the workout gear, which I have looked at many times before, and decided to bite the bullet and get an exercise ball. I just did all the exercises outlined in the little booklet the ball comes with plus two more I've done at the gym. I am beat but feel so great! Woohoo!!

I hope that tomorrow we can all go for a nice hike or walk or something as a family and get some more exercise in. I thought about going for a run, but we'll see what happens. I don't want to burn out too quickly this time.

good for you. I did pilates three days last week, but it's already been a week since that. motivation doesn't stick around long for me.

It is hard to take a break and get back in to the swing of things. I am sure you will do great!!

I'm taking this post as motivation...I haven't run in three weeks now because my body wasn't cooperating. I'm doing much better now, so I'm going tonight! Ya hear me!? I'm GOING!
