I absolutely love the fireplace, it is my favorite part of my house by far! My dad is a tile setter and tiled this for me the weekend he and my mom came up to help us move. My mom painted the door thing for me and I love it too!
And now on to my entryway and hallway, it's still a work in progress, but I'm getting there!

I already started sanding it at this point, so the floor looks pretty beat up, but it's in great shape and will look fabulous once it's finished, if it gets finished ;).I'm still unpacking, organizing, sorting and all of that fun stuff, hopefully some day I'll feel settled, we'll see how long that takes, lol.

Yes, the wood floors were hiding under the carpet. We thought that that may be the case, and the white carpet was so stained that we took a chance and ripped up the carpet. I'm hoping to get it sanded this week and seal it by Monday.
