I got pulled over today, eek!

I was speeding, accidentally (mostly, hee). I usually got about 5 over the speedlimit, unless its a school zone, but I was going down a hill and went 33mph in a 25mph zone. I realized it and looked up to see a police officer, crap!

So he pulls me over, after doing a semi dangerous move, but I guess its ok since he's a cop ;). And asks about my license plate, phew! Our new license plates had yet to arrive and our windows are tinted so dark that he couldn't see the temporary tag. Luckily I'm a good driver, usually :P, so I had no tickets on my record or any warrants, hee! So he let me go and told me to call on my license plates.

I had dh call, he is awesome, and the plates were in. Now I'm totally legal and happy again :)

Well, at least you didn't get a ticket right? I got pulled over once as a teenager because they couldn't see my registration sticker. I was a real blonde and put it on my front plate. Yeah I felt stupid. lol. They just told me to take the plates back in and get new stickers.

lucky duck! I've heard of your driving exploits before and I probably would have given you a ticket.

Hehe, I've learned a lot and a much more boring driver now, really ;)

I did about pee myself, Char. I haven't been pulled over in a long long time, not fun.

My best got-pulled-over story:

I passed a cop on I-15 on my way to work one day. Not a big deal, I pass cops all the time. Anyway, this one pulls me over.

Him: You know, if you pass me, then everybody else thinks they can do it too. So just don't go faster than me, ok?

Me: Ha ha! Okay.

I've been pulled over somewhere on the order of a dozen times that I can recall off hand. Now that I have a family to support and just plain can't afford tickets, I obey just about every rule on the books. See, punishment really is a deterrent for some of us!
