A few snippets of things I've interpreted so far this semester:
Rats ass
dammit, damn, damned, dangit (all to see if they were interpreted differently)
doppleganger
mother f*&%er wherein I signed "mother swear" 'cause that's totally equivalent ;)
throw him under the bus
I know there are more but I am drawing a blank, boo. Comment with some good stuff you have interpreted or witnessed recently :)
Meadow's Rambles of a Running Knitter
"Anyone can do his work, however hard, for one day. Anyone can live sweetly, patiently, lovingly, purely, till the sun goes down. And this is all that life really means." - Robert Louis Stevenson

Growing pains
This was me the first few months of the new move and the new job. It is hard getting through so many changes. Everyone here wants me to succeed, to do a good job but it was coming at me at every angle and I couldn't handle it. So I stood up for myself and said, you are all great but back off.
And they did, hehe imagine that. I still get lots of feedback, I still get mentoring and get pushed out of my comfort zone but it's more manageable now. I know we will all learn from each other, each person involved in the community, that I have had contact with, has been awesome. I will be a better interpreter when all is said and done and I know (here comes the conceited part of me) the community will have been better off with me being involved too.just added this photo because I want this watch, it will be mine someday :)

Allive! She is alive!!
Hello all :)
Lots to blog about but only 7 minutes to do it. Let's see....
~moved 300ish miles south for a new job.
~love new job.
~interpreting community and deaf community have been amazing thus far :)
~my husband has been amazing through so many trials and he never complains about my venting in relation to the job mentioned above (helping establish a new job and rules has been hard).
~the kids seem to like it down here, I love them for being such great sports.
~pics next time, I swear ;)

Running
I miss wanting to run. I love running, really I do. The last year, or so, I really have no desire to workout at all. I want the running bug to bite me again, I almost signed up for two races just to force myself to get out the door but I don't want it to be just another chore. Anyone have any tried and true tricks to get you going again? At this point a 5K would be so great for me but I just don't wanna.
I'm hoping the warmer weather will help, we will see.

Whoops!
So I didn't finish off my January goal and I seemed to have lost February and March too, hehe. Sorry about that!!
I have much to discuss but am too lazy tonight :)
I passed my certification!! I'm now an official novice interpreter in Utah. Woot!
I will be taking the educational interpreter test next week!
I started a 90 day workout challenge and then gave up on said challenge.
We started a new points system for the boys, they love it and we love it.
L went from blonde to red to orange/pink to brown.
M is determined to be taller than me by the time he reaches his 11th birthday (August 12th) he has like 8 inches to go, think he'll make it? ;)
LittleMan has become quite the LittleGentleman, he loves to open doors for us and close them, carry anything in my hands, etc etc.
Ok, enough of a summary for now, hopefully I'm back again soon and not 3 months later :)

5 things day 12
Yeah, I missed a few days, oops.
1. I'm so grateful for do overs.
2. So grateful for televised and online courses so I can spend more time at home healing with my family.
3. professionals helping us when we aren't sure what we are doing.
4. electronic devices helping us get through 3 hours worth of appointments with 2 active boys.
5. sleep
Life is crazy busy and it's just going to get more so, I still have the goal of posting daily but it's not the top priority and I'm not going to feel guilty for missing a few days :)

5 things day 8
I will be adding photos to posts as I come across ones that suit my fancy, just so you don't think it will be totally boring from now on, hehe.
1. Productive cleaning days, still a long way to go before I'm happy with the state of the house, but it's looking so much better :)
2. Cheap hair dye, though I think L isn't so happy with the new color, hehe.
3. Freedom, we are sure lucky to live where we live.
4. Laptops, mine wants to die, but I backed up all the documents and photos from mine. I'm just happy to have one that works most of the time.
5. The gospel, I don't talk about my religion a lot on my blog but I'm very grateful for it.
Thanks for stopping by, I'm sure grateful to my readers too :)
